Our Store Managers lead the day to day operations of our stores with a dedication to making sure Puppygram’s mission of matching the right pet with the right family and enhancing the unique bond between the two is met. Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute day to day activities of employees (scheduling, hiring, termination, and employee development.)
Demonstrate results orientation by meeting and exceeding key performance indicators, overcoming obstacles, monitoring business processes, maintaining impeccable merchandising and cleanliness standards and maximizing efficiency and profit by maintaining sound operational standards.
Be a role model for guest experience by ensuring the execution of our pet focused service model, inspiring and coaching sales associates to consistently deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.
Lead your team to continued success by recruiting and developing a highly productive and collaborative team, communicate through active coaching and performance management, and inspire your team to deliver signature Puppygram experiences.
Develop your team by ensuring they can articulate what a Puppygram experience looks like.
In addition to supporting store initiatives, help to lead a team of Pet Care Associates to maintain a safe and clean environment for all pets in our care.
Demonstrate collaboration by working effectively with your peers, partners and others to drive big-picture business performance and create a positive, cooperative working environment.

Requirements
Required Skills/Experience:
Passion for the proper care of animals
Understanding of retail fundamentals (merchandising, guest engagement, point of sale systems (POS), loss prevention and cash management)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
Proven ability to problem solve and adapt in a constantly changing, fast-paced retail environment.
Excellent and effective communication skills.
Organized and detail oriented
Flexibility with scheduling as work hours in a retail environment vary based on business needs.
