Responsibilities:
About the role
This is a contract role within GM Finanical. The Talent Advisor II is responsible for partnering with Talent Advisors, Hiring Leaders, and HR partners to execute a hiring strategy by sourcing and screening top talent in target markets. You will work directly with the global Recruiting leadership team to understand the organization's immediate and future talent needs with a focus on Emerging Technology. You will collaborate with recruiters and hiring leaders to deliver against key hiring goals by finding niche talent to support our top talent needs.
In this role you will:
Participate in the development and execution of comprehensive sourcing strategies and conduct candidate sourcing for assigned roles in functional area by leveraging multiple sourcing channels to identify and attract top talent
Proactively search for, identify, network with and directly contact active and passive job seekers, both internally and externally, for vacancies Sourcing the best candidates using a variety of channels that are aligned to and effectively communicate
Meet defined Talent Acquisition metrics for quality, cost, cycle time, diversity and compliance/risk all while providing a world class recruitment experience for candidates and business partners throughout the hiring process
Participation in special projects to enhance and improve the Recruiting department's functions
Wth minimal guidance, extend employment offers with candidates and complete the pre-employment process according to the recruiting guidelines
Qualifications:
What makes you the dream candidate:
Advanced knowledge of HR policies and procedures related to employment and pre-employment
Advanced knowledge of IT programs, systems, software, etc
Complete understanding of the GM Financial pre-employment and business processes, policies and procedures
Complete understanding of individual hiring manager’s expectations of the recruitment process
Advanced knowledge of technology solutions and their application within the hiring process
Advanced knowledge of governmental employment law and regulations
Advanced knowledge of statutory regulations (eg, anti-discrimination laws, pre-employment screenings, interview techniques/limitations, etc)
Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across functional and organizational lines
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s Degree Business/in related field or equivalent work experience Human Resources preferred
2-4 years full life-cycle recruiting experience, preferably with a strong background with technology and advanced sourcing capabilities
Experience with developing and executing sourcing strategies required
