The Talent Advisor II is responsible for partnering with Talent Advisors, Hiring Leaders, and HR partners to execute a hiring strategy by sourcing and screening top talent in target markets. You will work directly with the global Recruiting leadership team to understand the organization's immediate and future talent needs with a focus on Emerging Technology. You will collaborate with recruiters and hiring leaders to deliver against key hiring goals by finding niche talent to support our top talent needs.In this role you will:Participate in the development and execution of comprehensive sourcing strategies and conduct candidate sourcing for assigned roles in functional area by leveraging multiple sourcing channels to identify and attract top talentProactively search for, identify, network with and directly contact active and passive job seekers, both internally and externally, for vacancies Sourcing the best candidates using a variety of channels that are aligned to and effectively communicateMeet defined Talent Acquisition metrics for quality, cost, cycle time, diversity and compliance/risk all while providing a world class recruitment experience for candidates and business partners throughout the hiring processParticipation in special projects to enhance and improve the Recruiting department's functionsWth minimal guidance, extend employment offers with candidates and complete the pre-employment process according to the recruiting guidelinesQualificationsWhat makes you the dream candidate:Advanced knowledge of HR policies and procedures related to employment and pre-employmentAdvanced knowledge of IT programs, systems, software, etcComplete understanding of the GM Financial pre-employment and business processes, policies and proceduresComplete understanding of individual hiring managers expectations of the recruitment processAdvanced knowledge of technology solutions and their application within the hiring processAdvanced knowledge of governmental employment law and regulationsAdvanced knowledge of statutory regulations (eg, anti-discrimination laws, pre-employment screenings, interview techniques/limitations, etc)Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across functional and organizational linesExperience:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelors Degree Business/in related field or equivalent work experience Human Resources preferred2-4 years full life-cycle recruiting experience, preferably with a strong background with technology and advanced sourcing capabilitiesExperience with developing and executing sourcing strategies requiredOur Culture: Our team members define and shape our culture an environment that welcomes innovative ideas, fosters integrity, and creates a sense of community and belonging.
