Job Description

As the Head of Employee Relations Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing strategies and policies to maintain a harmonious and compliant workplace environment across McDonald’s global enterprise. You will oversee the development and execution of end-to-end Employee Relations strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.

Essential Duties:

Develop Global Employee Relations Strategy: Formulate a comprehensive approach and strategy for managing employee relations issues at McDonald’s worldwide, fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee engagement.

Compliance and Risk Management: Lead the design and implementation of a robust compliance and risk management strategy, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive measures to mitigate them effectively.

Concerns Management and Investigations: Oversee the development of a thorough concerns management and investigations strategy, ensuring prompt and equitable resolution of employee grievances, conflicts, and misconduct issues.

Leave & Absence Management: Develop global leave & absence policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and industry standards while balancing organizational needs and employee well-being.

Employee Separations Strategy: Develop policies and procedures for employee separations that uphold legal requirements, organizational values, and employee dignity, while minimizing potential risks.

Metrics Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and evaluate employee relations metrics and trends, analyzing data to derive actionable insights and drive continuous improvement in employee relations strategies and practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the Workplace Investigations team and Compliance, to gather input, ensure alignment, and facilitate successful execution of employee relations policies and strategies.
