Accounting and Recordkeeping Assistant

The Accounting & Recordkeeping Assistant will provide vital support to the accounting team and report directly to the Accounts Payable and Document Specialist. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Accounts payable and recordkeeping support
Recording POS sales in QuickBooks for multiple entities daily
Open and sort mail
Answer phones and route calls.
Print and sort incoming electronic vendor invoices.
Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
Help maintain the confidentiality and security of financial information.
Other related projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proactive and responsive
Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience with QuickBooks
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.
