Overview:
General Dynamics Electric Boat, the nation's premier designer and builder of nuclear submarines, is seeking an Administrative Aide to join our team.

 

The D472 Administrative Aide will provide support for multiple Engineering and Technical Writing groups. Must be able to work independently as well as within a group setting.  Tasks include, but are not limited to:

Distribution (Electronic and Hard Copy)

Database Maintenance

Technical Manual Development

Technical Manual Updates

LAR Processing

Typing Correspondence 

Qualifications:
HS diploma or GED

Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

2-5 years of administrative experience

Must have a thorough knowledge of MS Word and Excel

Required Typing Test - Net Speed of at least 45 words per minute

Skills:
SGML/XML experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Qualifications:
Light Lifting
