Job Overview:
As a Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the product development lifecycle of our marketing technology platforms, such as our customer relationship management system, online leasing application, and resident portal and mobile app. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and document product requirements, ensure the quality and functionality of our products through testing, and create comprehensive training materials to support product adoption and usage. Roles You Will Play:
The Facilitator
Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and development teams to gather and document detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Translate business needs and user feedback into clear and actionable requirements documentation.
Maintain and update product documentation throughout the development lifecycle to ensure alignment with evolving business objectives.
Design and develop user-friendly training materials, including user guides, tutorials, and online resources, to facilitate product adoption and usage.
Collaborate with internal training and support teams to deliver effective training programs and resources to end users.
Continuously update and improve training documentation based on user feedback, product updates, and emerging best practices.
The Techie
Leverage data from user feedback, customer surveys, and other available in-house data sets to conduct product analysis for aiding informed product enhancement and release decisions.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of our products.
Conduct thorough quality assurance and regression testing to identify and resolve defects and ensure product stability across various platforms.
Work closely with the product manager and internal of third-party developers to prioritize and address issues discovered during testing, ensuring timely resolution and release of high-quality products.

Cortland is the first apartment brand to provide a personalized and self-service digital experience with automated follow-up communication relevant to each step of their customer journey from the time they start shopping for an apartment to when they move out.
You will help to make apartment living easy and convenient for our customers through the continued enhancement of our digital technology stack.
Our internal end-users will be well equipped with training material and reference guides due to your efforts to provide digestible documentation on new platforms and ongoing product releases.
Building Blocks of Success:
Strong 2+ years’ experience in product management and/or marketing technology systems, including but not limited to Customer Relationship Management systems, digital customer experiences, or mobile applications, as well as experience working with third-party vendors.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into clear and concise requirement documentation, as well as recommend sound solutions and implementation strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in technical writing with the ability to translate documentation into end-user training material, product user guides, and release notes.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
High level of self-motivation and work ethic with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic agile work environment.
