Overview:
As an Entry level data engineer your role includes good strong understanding of data and capability to enhance system which will gather, manage, and convert data in usable format.  You will be responsible for providing good quality data which will be used by business analyst to enhance Nokē Products and Business operations.

Responsibilities:
Implement data quality checks, validation, and monitoring.

Transform raw data into valuable info using any programming language.

Basic understanding of RDBMS and data warehouse concepts.

Knowledge of SQL which includes writing complex SQLs to analyze or extract data in an efficient way.

Aware with database objects e.g., Tables, procedure, triggers, functions etc.

Interpret, and report and data issues, observations, or findings.

Extract data to generate ad hoc reports for analysis.

Enforce data governance policies and best practices.

Create dynamic data reports using power BI, Tableau.

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Entry level as data engineer

Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, trends, and relationships in the data.

Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to show data insights effectively to stakeholders.

Ability to work with SQL and large volume of data.

Capable of configuring popular database engines, tools, and technologies in data analysis

Capable of troubleshooting common data issues quickly

Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala will be a plus.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
