Overview:

Under the direction of the Regional Director of Operations, this individual is responsible for the items listed below. This position performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.

 

Leads communication efforts regarding the planning and implementation of publicity that promotes awareness of the Foundation and its programs. Works with Foundation Vice President, and the Regional Director of Operations to ensure effective reporting and stewardship of gifts. Coordinates all Board and sub-committee activities of the large Foundation(s) in the region. Assists with coordination of campaign committee meetings. Provides support for Regional Vice President, or Vice President. Assists with the development of donor materials, donor research, and letters as needed. Leads Moves Management process for the region. Manages the Grateful Families workflow of prospects. Develops donor packets/research and sets appointments. Assists with daily activities of regional operations.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3 years of experience in a supporting role. Experience in philanthropy is highly desirable.

Required Education: Minimum of BS or BA degree.

Other: Management experience in meeting goals.- Excellent writing and organization skills.- Highly effective at personal communication with strong emphasis on interpersonal relationship skills.- Demonstrated creativity and can do attitude.- Ability to work well with a wide variety of people.- Proficiency in developing and adhering to schedules and timelines.- Personal integrity and confidence in exhibiting leadership skills when needed.- Proficient in Microsoft applications.- Proficient in Donor/Sales applications.
