Overview:
The Senior IT Vendor Services Manager will develop and lead competitive assessment/RFX process in collaboration with procurement, internal stakeholders and manage end-to-end process for MSA’s and SOW’s. Focus on outsourced IT services a plus.

Proven experience of planning and implementing IT services transitions to vendors and managing complex transition plans with multiple stakeholders.

Act as the Governance lead on outsourcing agreements with key IT suppliers to monitor the health of the relationships and recommend improvement areas.

Responsibilities:
Leads vendor governance, oversight and performance strategy

Responsible to create/update service level agreements and appropriate penalties based on data analysis and knowledge of industry best practices

Reporting KPI’s by establishing processes and controls to enhance value and minimize risk

 

Work with the Strategy and technology team to define the SOP’s for the Vendor Management Processes, procedures and workflow.

Partnering with the Vendor Managers to effectively execute a combination of contract, performance, financial and relationship management roles with IT vendors.

Conduct vendor spend and trend analysis for the IT organization to report on realized cost savings, avoidance and efficiencies, and produce reports.

Manage vendor risks; analyze problem areas and help resolve disputes:

• Assist IT and procurement subject matter experts with vendor evaluation and selection criteria

• Assist procurement staff and stakeholders to optimize cost-effective agreements

 

Manages the vendor relationship including determining in scope and out of scope work, working through any interpretation of contract terms and monitoring/reviewing SLA adherence. Performs deep dive research on missed SLAs.

Partners with the vendor to drive continuous improvement resulting in improved service, cost efficiencies and productivity.

Overall, the position manages the activities related to vendor relationships, contract terms and conditions, and product or service performance related to information systems & IT services.

 

Skills/ Competencies:

Dispute resolution, Negotiation and change management, Program Management

Knowledge of IT concepts, systems and current technologies

Understanding of Contractual Terms and Conditions , ability to translate them to execute on the agreement

Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to present to leadership

Analytical skills along with advanced Excel capabilities

Proven experience in Vendor performance management including developing, negotiating, and monitoring SLAs, KPIs, and overall vendor effectiveness.

Relationship/stakeholder management

Qualifications:
Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 10 years related experience, preferably focused on delivering large scale complex programs.

 

Behaviors: Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments, lead and drive change
