We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Actions and Trade Settlement Specialist to join our operations team. You will play a crucial role in overseeing our outsource provider and ensuring the highest level of service delivery to a variety of internal partners, including the Equities, FX, and Fixed Income trading teams.

We’ll trust you to:

- Oversee the day-to-day management of our outsource provider, ensuring they meet or exceed the performance standards set by the company for our Corporate Action and Settlement services.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and the outsource provider, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
- Monitor and review corporate actions, trade confirmation, and trade settlement processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in corporate actions and trade settlement data, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the outsource provider, brokers, and custodians fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Continuously assess the performance of the outsource provider, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate measures.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to corporate actions, trade confirmation and settlement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Operations, IT, Legal & Compliance and PI, to optimize processes and enhance overall service delivery.
- Participate in regular meetings with the outsource provider to review performance metrics and address any issues or concerns.
- Assist with the onboarding and training of new team members as needed.
- Support the LAM equity, fixed income, and FX trading teams.
- Be available to attend meetings with overseas LAM offices, custodians, and brokers outside of New York hours.
- Review, process, and submit class action claims to the various administrators and process settlement checks.
- Monitor and review interest / CSDR claims.

You’ll need to have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in corporate actions and trade settlement, preferably with exposure to outsource provider oversight.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Charles River, and experience with relevant trade settlement software.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately 110,000 - 135,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
