Overview:
The position involves leading HR Operations large-scale, complex projects to leverage technology to automate & improve processes globally within our HR systems.  Specific project area of focus in building and expanding Oracle Cloud HCM employee self-service, manager self-service, and role-based security. The Global HR Operations Project Manager Lead will also participate in other projects to modernize the technology landscape within HR and identify areas where systems/processes can improve. 

Responsibilities:
Handling global projects which are complex or unique with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth transition into regular operations and support as well as contributing to change management and communication plans.

Leads projects through key project phases & tollgates – including owning key stakeholder communication on project status progress, timeline, and risk mitigation in partnership with HR technical team.

Partnering across various stakeholders in the business as well as across HR functions to gather key requirements and gain support for the change prior to release.

Acts as key functional liaison between HR Operations/HRIS leadership, HR teams, internal customers and developers.

Partners with HR leaders and project stakeholders on process definitions, workflows, and new support requirements.

Determines scope of system or process requirements by evaluating organizational needs for human resources-related information with responsibility for related project management.

Leads user acceptance testing and issue resolution in partnership with the HR technical team.

Identifies areas for process improvement and drives projects in support of change.

Facilitates problem-solving across departmental/organizational teams and vendors.

Assists in develop training for processes and applications.

Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.

Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives as well as provides regular project status updates to senior HR team.

Qualifications:
Required:

Bachelors degree

Minimum of 8 years related experience supporting HR technologies and processes in project management capacity.

Must have prior experience implementing and supporting Human Capital Management and ERP systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, Taleo, SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, reporting tools, etc.).

Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects.

Highly Preferred:

Prior experience in self-service and role-based experience.

Exceptional project management skills with ability to hold self and project resources accountable for deliverables.

Adept with technology and learning new systems.

Solid process engineering skills. 

Able to adapt to changing requirements and environment. 

Good customer service and interpersonal skills. 

Strong written and verbal communication skills across different audiences.

Ability to communicate complex processes to all levels of leadership, aligning communication style to the needs of the customer.
