dnata is one of the world’s largest air services providers. Established in 1959, the company ensures the aviation industry operates smoothly and efficiently in 129 airports. Based in our Orlando Corporate office, the Vice President of Finance will report to the CFO, with dotted line reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. This role is responsible for the financial and risk management operations of the Company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

The candidate must have extensive knowledge and background in cross functional systems integration and maintenance, project planning leadership experience, and extensive knowledge of Great Plains, Navision, and/or Microsoft Dynamics software.

You Will:
Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives. Monitor and direct the implementation of financial systems and integration.

Maintains and enforces a documented system of policies and procedures

Oversee the operations of the accounting/financial, payroll department, including the design of an adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

Ensure that are paid in a timely manner

Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable

Ensure that are collected promptly

Process in a timely manner

Ensure that periodic are completed

Ensure that required payments are made on a timely basis

Maintain the

Maintain an orderly accounting filing system

Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions

Issue timely and complete

Coordinate the preparation of the corporate

Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations

Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics

Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts

Calculate from the budget and report significant issues to management

Provide for a system of management cost reports

Provide financial analyses as needed

Coordinate the provision of information to external for the annual

Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Coordinate and integrate financial and business plans in line with overall strategic plans.

Develop financial and tax strategies and fully comply with tax rules and guidelines.

Manage the capital and cash flow expenditure and budgeting processes.

Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.

Oversee the issuance of financial information.

Produce monthly financial reports in a timely manner.

Review and approve all reports submitted to Government agencies and independent institutions.

Report financial results to the board of directors

Knowledge of office technology, proficiency with accounting software, computer skills in Excel  Quick Books, ERP systems.

Preferred candidate will have a Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field and 8 to 10 years' related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3-5 years' Controller/Accounting management experience

CPA or CA preferred.

Process optimization, business efficiency, analysis of processes/procedures
