Responsibilities:
Under direct guidance, the Associate Coordinator assists in maintaining and following through with the insurance enrollment process for employed providers, for the purpose of enrolling providers in health plans contracted with the organization. The associate Coordinator is responsible for following control processes including requests for change or updates and follow through skills. Must be competent to work the initial enrollment process but may require instruction and guidance in other areas. Position includes problem management and troubleshooting. Assists in determining enrollment needs, helps to investigate solutions and presents recommendations to intermediate analyst and management as needed. Acts as a liaison between physicians and contracted health plans. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, Intermediate Credentialing Coordinators, management, and contacts outside the organization.
