Overview:
The Client Services Specialist Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the transportation operations for children placed in foster care. Responsible for supervising a team of transporters, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of children to various appointments, activities, and family visits. The Client Services Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing and managing SSCC Supervision and Children without Placement. This position requires the ability to utilize time management skills, prioritize tasks, resolve conflicts/problems/issues, and model exceptional behaviors as they relate to the organization’s core values.

Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsible for ensuring staff are scheduled and available to receive emergency transportation tasks and SSCC Supervision tasks, 24/7/365.

Supervise and lead a team of client service specialists including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management, to ensure a reliable and compassionate transportation service and supervision for children in foster care.

Ensures the client services specialist team are making well-informed decisions.

Implements safety protocols, transportation/SSCC Supervision policies, and procedures to ensure the safe transportation/supervision of children in compliance with local laws and agency guidelines.

Act as a point of contact during emergencies or incidents related to transportation and/or SSCC Supervision, providing guidance and support to the transporters, coordinating necessary responses, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children.

Oversees the day-to-day operations of SSCC Supervision with the assistance of the Director of Placement.

Oversees the maintenance of records for pre-service and in-service trainings attendance.

Collaborate with caseworkers, foster parents, and other stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and implement improvements to the transportation services for children in foster care.

Oversee accurate and timely completion of transportation logs, incident reports, mileage records, and other required documentation by transporters, ensuring compliance with agency policies and relevant regulations.

Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.

Maintain and encourage a healthy staff environment and culture.

Ability to handle crisis situations and make sound decisions quickly and calmly.

Proficiency in documenting and reporting information accurately, ensuring compliance with agency policies and legal requirements.

Will be required to travel in order to attend meetings, training, or conduct business off site. Must have a valid driver's license and may be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.

Must be willing to work on call and after normal business hours as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university required. 3-5 years of experience in child welfare services preferred. At least 2 years of supervision experience preferred.
