We are currently seeking qualified candidates for consideration to fill an open Communications Specialist position in our Program Management Services Division. This position will be located at our Client’s Rochester, NY office.
   

The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.

Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $(phone number removed)

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Ensuring effective communication within our organization. Responsibilities will include creating and disseminating internal communications, coordinating on-site meetings, and managing communication across various channels.

Responsibilities

1) Internal Communication Creation:

Draft compelling and informative slide decks for internal presentations, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational goals.

Craft engaging content for newsletters, memos, and other internal communication materials.

2. On-Site Meeting Coordination:

Collaborate with teams to organize on-site meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Coordinate logistics, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and materials preparation.

3. Channel Management:

Manage communication across different channels, such as intranet portals, email newsletters, and internal social platforms.

Ensure consistent messaging and timely updates to keep employees informed.

4. Change Communication Support:

Assist during business transformations by communicating changes effectively to employees.

Work closely with project teams to create communication plans and execute them seamlessly.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:

Build relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, project managers, and executives.

Understand their communication needs and tailor messages accordingly.

6. Metrics and Feedback:

Monitor the effectiveness of internal communications through metrics (e.g., open rates, engagement).

Gather feedback from employees and adjust communication strategies as needed.

Requirements

Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven experience in internal communications, preferably in a corporate environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in creating visually appealing slide decks.

Familiarity with communication tools and platforms.

Experience leveraging AI tools for communication optimization:

Utilize AI-driven language models (such as Copilot) to enhance written content, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and engagement.

Stay informed about advancements in AI-driven communication tools and explore innovative ways to improve internal messaging and presentations.

Strong organizational and project management abilities.
