Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist Open, stamp, and calculate discounts on incoming invoices and credit memos. Match inventory receipts to invoices and verify accuracy. Enter vendor invoices into the system, verify totals, and maintain open payables files. Process daily check runs, maintain check logs, and communicate discrepancies to vendors. Assist with drop ship orders and accounts receivable tasks as needed. Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist Role 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar applications. Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and follow-up skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in the B2B or wholesale industry is helpful but not required.
