Job DescriptionJob DescriptionInformation Technology Co-op/Internship– St. Charles, MOAmerican Industrial Transport, Inc. is a privately-owned company based in St. Charles Missouri, providing railcar leasing and repair services to the companies that move the essential assets that power the North American economy. Job Summary & Core Responsibilities:The Information Technology Intern will support AITX’s IT organization through meaningful project work and hands-on technical experience. Depending on assignment area, the intern may support initiatives related to data governance and policy, data engineering, reporting and analytics, business analysis, application development, or technical support. This internship provides exposure to how technology enables business operations while offering opportunities to build practical skills and apply academic learning in a real-world environment.Assist with technology projects supporting policy, governance, or documentationSupport data engineering, reporting, or analytics initiativesContribute to business analysis activities or application development effortsAssist with technical support or troubleshooting needs as assignedProvide general technology team support and participate in process improvement workRequired Experience / Skills / Qualifications / EducationCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong interest in technology and problem solvingCuriosity and willingness to learn new tools and systemsAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentStrong communication skills and attention to detailWork Environment and Safety Equipment Required:Office environmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
