Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Information Technology Manager to join the team in Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; or Saint Charles, MO. This individual will lead and integrate all facets of Information Technology (IT) from infrastructure design and security to application development, information management, architecture, and process engineering. You will partner with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams to develop and execute strategic project and process plans, acquire and manage resources, and approve technical approaches that reduce risk and modernize our technology portfolio. The team provides the baseline infrastructure and software solutions needed by our defense teams to deliver their products.Position Responsibilities:Manage and integrate employee activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysisDevelop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goalsAcquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportProvide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesManage and provide developmental opportunities for employeesGuide and lead team of dedicated Information Technology professionalsCoach and mentor team to further their skills, develop their talent, and ensure they are leading fulfilled and motivated careersLead projects to insert new technology to meet our program, compliance, and security needsLead asset management to provide cost-effective solutions right sized for the environmentPerform long range business planning, acquiring and deploying capital, and managing budgetsProvide consultation and support to our business leaders to meet their technological needsDevelop and execute project and process plans, implement policy improvements and changes, set operational goals for the groups, and acquire resources needed to continuously improve the work productReduce risk by managing the portfolio of technological solutions at the highest levels of modernizationBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience leading engineering or information technology teams across multiple functions5+ years of experience in using project management methodologies, including developing project plans, performance management, and managing issues and risksPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experienceActive Top Secret clearanceExperience working within an Agile environmentSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
