Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available to support elementary students in resource and self-contained classrooms. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule aligned with the school calendar and onsite work in Elgin, IL. The contract position will begin in March 2026 and continue through the end of the school year in May 2026.Qualifications and Experience:Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with school experienceAbility to work effectively with elementary school students in diverse classroom settingsFamiliarity with school-based therapy services and individualized education programs (IEPs)Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and support staffResponsibilities:Provide occupational therapy services to elementary students in resource and self-contained classroomsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student needs and goalsCollaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progressDocument therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school and state regulationsParticipate in team meetings and contribute to student evaluations and IEP planningLocation:Onsite position in Elgin, Illinois, working within an elementary school environmentBenefits:Weekly pay every FridayMedical, dental, and vision insurance coverage401(k) matching programFlexible scheduling following the school calendarMaterials and license reimbursement allowanceThis contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student development within a supportive school setting.
