This position offers an opportunity for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting. Located in Elgin, IL, this contract role spans the current school year and involves working directly with students to support their educational and developmental needs. Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy assessments and individualized treatment plans tailored to students academic and functional goals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to integrate therapy objectives into classroom activities. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed. Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development. Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance student participation and success in school activities. Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license. Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with K-12 students. Strong knowledge of school curriculum and ability to collaborate with educational teams. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Commitment to student-centered care and promoting inclusive learning environments. Location: Elgin, Illinois This contract role covers the complete school year, providing a steady schedule that aligns with the academic calendar.
