Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available to support elementary students in resource and self-contained classrooms. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule aligned with the school calendar and onsite work in Elgin, IL. The contract position will begin in March 2026 and continue through the end of the school year in May 2026. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with school experience Ability to work effectively with elementary school students in diverse classroom settings Familiarity with school-based therapy services and individualized education programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and support staff Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to elementary students in resource and self-contained classrooms Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student needs and goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school and state regulations Participate in team meetings and contribute to student evaluations and IEP planning Location: Onsite position in Elgin, Illinois, working within an elementary school environment Benefits: Weekly pay every Friday Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage 401(k) matching program Flexible scheduling following the school calendar Materials and license reimbursement allowance This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student development within a supportive school setting.
