Accounting Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $75,000 to $80,000 per year.Job Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.Manage accounts receivable by overseeing invoicing, collections, and resolving discrepancies.Handle accounts payable by reviewing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor relationships.Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.Support budgeting, forecasting, and ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks Online, and Paychex systems.Utilize strong Excel skills, including advanced functions for data analysis and reporting.Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex accounting tasks.Communicate effectively with professionals at all organizational levels.Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks independently. Qualifications: 3+ years of accounting experience in payroll, AR, and AP functions.Possess hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting processes.Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Operate with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to accuracy.Display ability to identify process improvements and implement efficiencies.REF#51456#LI-DD1
