We're looking for a Safety Coordinator who doesn't just want to enforce rules but wants to champion a culture of safety and become a trusted partner to our clients.Position SummaryAs a Safety Coordinator, you will be on the front lines of our mission, working directly with a diverse portfolio of clients in industries like manufacturing, construction, and logistics. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety programs, conducting site assessments, delivering training, and serving as a hands-on resource for our partners. This role is perfect for a developing safety professional with 1-3 years of experience who is eager to grow, learn, and contribute to a mission-driven organization.Key Responsibilities: How You'll Make an Impact Partner with Clients: Serve as a primary safety point-of-contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships based on trust and expertise. Conduct Site Assessments: Perform regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues (OSHA 1910 & 1926), and opportunities for cultural improvement. Deliver Engaging Training: Lead toolbox talks, safety stand-downs, and assist with formal training sessions (e.g., Hazard Communication, PPE) to empower client employees with critical safety knowledge. Support Incident Investigation: Assist in the investigation of incidents and near-misses, focusing on identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions that prevent recurrence. Develop Safety Documentation: Help create and update site-specific safety plans, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Lockout/Tagout procedures, and other essential safety documents. Champion the Culture of Care: Actively promote proactive safety measures, celebrate safety wins, and coach frontline supervisors and employees on best practices. Maintain Records: Ensure all safety-related documentation, including training records, inspection reports, and incident logs, is accurately maintained and readily accessible. RequirementsWhat We're Looking For: The Ideal CandidateRequired Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in an occupational health and safety role. OSHA 30-Hour certification (Construction or General Industry). Solid understanding of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910 and/or 1926). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. You can confidently and clearly communicate with everyone from frontline workers to site managers. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel to client sites within the DFW area. A true passion for protecting people and a belief in our care-first philosophy. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves): Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experience in high-risk industries such as construction or manufacturing. Additional safety certifications (e.g., ASP, GSP, CHST). Experience delivering safety training to groups.
