A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated physician to join their staff as their new Medical DirectorAbout the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: Standard businessSetting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)3 site openings Manhattan, Queens and the BronxResponsibilities:Assume leadership in clinical affairs at a particular site; supervise other providers and team with the Center Director to manage medical operations.Take histories, perform physical examinations, and prescribe treatment and medication for conditionsDesign and participate in quality improvement activities, including Medical Record Peer Review, performance and procedure audits, outcome audits, and focused reviewsCoordinate tests, referrals, and care of patients outside the centerMaintain legible and appropriate documentation of medical recordsParticipate and attend provider meetingsPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New YorkB/C Family Medicine or Internal MedicinePrevious Leadership Experience
