Responsibilities The Regional Medical Director, in partnership with an Executive Director, is responsible for the operational, financial, and clinical performance of clinical teams (PODS) across the assigned region, in accordance with the business strategy, vision, mission, and values of HarmonyCares Medical Group. The role involves building and maintaining close working relationships with all clinical and operational team members. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Provide oversight and leadership for Physician POD Leaders, including recruitment, retention, performance management, and onboarding. Assist POD Leaders with: Clinical performance at the POD level (quality, patient experience, ADDM, total cost of care/institutional utilization). Team management (recruiting, retention, performance management of POD teammates). Partner with Executive Directors to ensure financial and operational goals are achieved/exceeded and to participate in daily operations of offices within the region. Supervise and participate in high‑risk huddles. Build a team‑based culture. Collaborate with care management and pharmacy teams. Conduct regular 1‑to‑1s with POD Leaders, individual clinicians, and Executive Directors. Assist Regional CMO with market performance and clinical initiatives. Support service recovery and resolution of patient complaints. Act as EMR “super‑user” and help clinicians improve workflows and efficiency. Add to EMR enhancement and improvement initiatives. Provide in‑home primary care services to patients. In this role you may work with Executive Directors POD Leaders Regional CMO Senior Managers and Directors Regional Clinical Quality and Documentation team members Care Management and Pharmacy team members External stakeholders Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified. Active medical license. 5+ years of experience in hospice care, palliative care, or home‑based primary care. Experience in medical leadership and clinical innovation. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience 1+ year of leadership/supervisory experience. Pay Posted Max Pay Rate: USD $325,000.00 / Yr.Posted Min Pay Rate: USD $300,000.00 / Yr. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job‑related considerations.
