Cad Drafter

Job Title: CAD DrafterJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our team in designing and drafting custom pool covers and liners. The ideal candidate will have experience with a strong understanding of materials, measurements, and fabrication processes related to pool construction and accessories. This role involves creating precise technical drawings, collaborating with engineers and clients, and ensuring all designs meet safety and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for custom pool covers and liners based on client specifications and site measurements.Interpret engineering plans to integrate pool cover and liner designs.Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.Revise drawings based on feedback and field changes.Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and company guidelines.Assist in estimating material quantities and costs for custom designs.Support the development of installation guides and fabrication instructions.Essential SkillsAt least 5+ years of drafting experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.Mechanical troubleshooting experience.Strong understanding of design and drafting processes.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Branchburg, NJ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
