Construction Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Specialist to join our team in Warren, NJ. This role is integral to the successful execution of construction projects and requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in construction surveying.Key Responsibilities: Oversee construction stakeout services, ensuring field setup and quality control are maintained at high standards. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new field crew staff, CAD Drafters, and Survey Technicians. Provide training and guidance on construction stakeout procedures and protocols to survey field crews, CAD Drafters, and Survey Technicians. Evaluate the performance of field crews and provide constructive feedback. Conduct construction stakeout calculations and prepare as-built surveys and sketches. Prepare and present grade sheets, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Adjust survey traverses as needed to maintain project integrity. Facilitate clear and effective communication across teams and business units. Collaborate closely with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers to ensure project goals are met. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction surveying field, encompassing both field and office work. Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to clients and colleagues at all organizational levels. Comprehensive knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and the construction industry. Ability to interpret complex drawings and documents with precision.
