This person will be expected to contribute primarily to our Site/Civil projects by assisting with critical drafting functions. Primary Responsibilities: Perform CAD Drafting while utilizing survey field data. Assist with the preparation of Site/Civil drawings including grading, utility, and E&S plans. Assist with the preparation of various forms of site/civil details & exhibits. Provide office support; this includes performing area, slope, and volume computations. Ensure scheduling and productivity objectives are achieved. Perform field work on an as-needed basis; this includes observing construction and assisting surveyors. Assist with obtaining relevant field data & measurements. Utilize relevant data when creating / adjusting workable construction blueprints. Perform field work on an as-needed basis; this person will be expected to work indoors as well as outdoors. Additional duties may be assigned, as needed. Basic Requirements: High School Diploma (or equivalent). This person may be expected to work in the field, as-needed, so they will be required to possess a Valid Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology, or a related technical field of study is a plus Proficiency with engineering / CADD tools; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus (but we are willing to train individuals who are willing to learn) Proficiency on standard Microsoft Office software applications. Proven ability to utilize technical mathematics. Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
