For all other candidates, on-site work is mandatory.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Litigation Legal Assistant to join our growing Family Law practice. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent legal services to our clients, while maintaining a vibrant, friendly, team-based workplace. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities, which may include, but not be limited to, preparing templates and shells for attorneys, assisting with court and e-filings, service of legal documents, creating service lists, ensuring case court dates, meetings, depositions, and other deadlines are appropriately calendared, coordinating with opposing counsel, translators, court reporters, process servers for personal service and filing, and other vendors, research, preparation of documentation, setting up and maintaining physical and electronic case files, contacts, OneNote folders, and Clio folders, copyingscanningfaxing, assisting attorneys with collecting information, records, and a myriad of other items as needed for the Firms family law and trust and estates practices. In addition, you will also be responsible to assist the Firm with various administrative and other matters and functions. To properly perform your responsibilities, you will be expected to continue to learn about the areas of law that the Firm practices, both from a substantive and strategic standpoint. The ideal candidate will reside in the Bay Area as although we are primarily remote, some office and court days will be required. Skills Required1+ yr of exp in Litigation. Interest in practicing Family, Probate and Trust and Estate law. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Organized, self-starter. Must be located near the SF or East Bay area.
