Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, utilizing aseptic techniques for surgical procedures. Assist with patient transport and ensure safety and efficiency in the operating room. Function as a Second Assistant during procedures as required. Communicate effectively with team members regarding equipment and supply needs. Demonstrate knowledge of various surgical procedures and equipment. Qualifications: Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months. Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Experience: No prior experience required; we welcome entry-level candidates Skills: Strong knowledge of aseptic surgical techniques, excellent customer service, and basic computer proficiency. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 40 lbs. Capable of performing various physical tasks including pushing, pulling, and patient positioning. Must be able to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment and wear necessary protective gear.
