Join our Dynamic Operating Room Team Become a Surgical Technologist I specializing in General Surgery at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, the largest hospital in Wisconsin. We are dedicated to providing innovative care and are seeking enthusiastic individuals who wish to contribute to exceptional patient outcomes. About the Position: As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in patient care by ensuring a sterile and efficient surgical environment. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing the surgical area with all necessary materials, supplies, and equipment using aseptic techniques. Assisting surgeons by anticipating their needs during procedures and maintaining a sterile field. Transporting patients and equipment with care, ensuring safety at all times. Maintaining equipment and supplies, checking for sterilization, and managing specialty carts. Working on call, primarily overnight and weekends, with flexible scheduling based on department needs. What We Offer: A generous pay range of $26.10 - $39.15 per hour, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Sign-on bonuses: $10,000 for eligible candidates relocating and $2,000 for those taking on evening shifts. Requirements: You must have completed an accredited program in Surgical Technology and be able to obtain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months. No prior experience is necessary Physical Demands: This role requires maintaining a high level of stamina and physical strength. You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, perform various movements, and work in a fast-paced environment.
