Zurich Cover-More has more 200 distribution partners around the world including airlines, global travel companies, major banks and credit card providers and leading retailers.What's the job?The Senior Actuary will play a pivotal role in shaping the pricing, regulatory filings, and actuarial strategy for our North American travel insurance portfolio. You'll lead major multi-state pricing and filing projects, bring deep GLM and modeling expertise, and help modernize our actuarial toolkit as we enter an exciting phase of product evolution and integration across Zurich Cover-More and Travel Guard. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on complex analytical challenges, enjoys owning impactful work from start to finish, and is energized by learning, problem-solving, and shaping the future of a fast-growing travel insurance business.You'll lead pricing analysis and GLM modeling across retail and wholesale travel products.You'll develop actuarial memos, exhibits, and manuals for 50-state filings, including complex states like CA and NY.You'll own actuarial projects end-to-end, from scoping to execution to documentation.You'll perform rate indications, experience studies, and ongoing monitoring to support profitability goals.You'll collaborate with internal teams to advance key workstreams.You'll maintain, enhance, and document actuarial tools, models, and processes.You'll work independently while contributing to a transparent, open, and supportive team culture.What are we looking for?You'll bring an ASA/ACAS designation and ~7+ years of experience in A&H, P&C, or related lines.You'll bring strong GLM expertise and confidence discussing methodology, assumptions, and interpretation.You'll bring hands-on capability with Python, R, Emblem, Excel/VBA, and SQL, plus data visualization experience.You'll bring a track record of independently managing large, complex actuarial and filing projects.You'll bring excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical detail clearly.You'll bring reliability, strong work ethic, and comfort working remotely as a self-starter.You'll bring curiosity, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset suited to a fast-evolving travel insurance space.Why choose us?We value optimism, caring, togetherness, reliability, results focus and forward-thinking.We have more than 2900 employees worldwide: we are a global group of digital specialists, actuaries, marketers, doctors, nurses, case managers, claims specialists, finance experts and customer service professionals. This is the range Zurich Cover-More in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed Remotely in any US state. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible.
