Ideal candidates will bring strategic insight, technical versatility, and a collaborative mindset to a high-performing team committed to continuous improvement and innovation.ResponsibilitiesLead the investigation, development, and implementation of Principles Based ReservesCommunicate with key stakeholders (auditors, regulators, internal) about regulatory changesBecome the team expert in Annuity Valuation changesChallenge the status quo and push improvements with a long-term viewWork collaboratively with actuarial, finance, and technology teamsBuild tools to produce, test, and review reserve movementsAbility to independently seek out areas for improvement and implement solutionsRelentlessly committed to self-study and investigationQualificationsBachelor's degree6 to 8 years of experienceFive to 10 years of supervisory/management experienceAdditional Qualifications:FSADemonstrated experience in actuarial valuationAbility to present and explain results to senior managementExperience leading a team and collaborating with othersProven insurance business knowledgeStrong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups and all organizational levelsAbility to lead and develop an engaged, high performing team of actuariesPreferred ExperienceModel experience (AXIS, in particular) is preferredAdditional InformationOur job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
