Join us in continuing and strengthening our position as a market share leader dedicated and trusted by retailers and consumers alike.JOB SUMMARYAs a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing a team of maintenance technicians, implementing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining a safe working environment. Attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance are essential for success in this role.RequirementsKEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervision and Leadership: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians. Work with Maintenance Administrator to assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on priorities and skillsets. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols. Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues. Perform preventive care maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Coordinate with production and quality control teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations. Participate in on-call rotation for after hours and weekend coverage. Assist team on the floor as needed. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions. Diagnose technical problems and implement effective solutions to minimize production interruptions. Collaborate with maintenance staff and external vendors to resolve complex issues as needed. Documentation and Reporting: Utilize CMMS System (Asset Essentials) to record maintenance activities by employee and equipment for Preventative, Scheduled and Repair maintenance activities. Generate reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance costs for management review. Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and procedures. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to equipment operation and maintenance. Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability among maintenance team members. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions in maintenance operations. Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction within the maintenance department. PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS Frequently to constantly standing, walking Occasionally to frequently bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling climbing Occasionally carrying products 5 pounds to 50 pounds or more. Constant exposure to varying temperatures of above 45 degrees and below. Exposure to chemicals used for brazing/welding as well as chlorine etc. Exposure to product fumes such as onions, peppers, etc. Works overtime as required Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Must have a working knowledge of English language.
