Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Grants Coordinator to join a non-profit organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is a contract position where you will play a key role in supporting the grants management team by ensuring accuracy and compliance in award documentation, managing workflows, and maintaining effective communication across teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at balancing big-picture thinking with meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Review and validate award documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal budgets. - Collaborate closely with the grants manager to facilitate document approvals and negotiations. - Serve as a central point of coordination for tracking and managing award workflows. - Ensure proper signatures are obtained and documents are successfully integrated into multiple systems. - Monitor templates and processes, identifying and addressing errors or inconsistencies. - Assist grant managers in navigating policies, procedures, and system updates as needed. - Support the development and implementation of step-by-step procedures for new grants management practices. - Manage tasks involving large-scale awards, including copying and pasting relevant data. - Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Sign to streamline administrative processes. - Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure smooth operations. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative coordination, preferably within grant management or a non-profit setting. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and SharePoint. - Familiarity with Adobe Sign and other document management tools. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and systems simultaneously. - Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and processing documents. - Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders. - Ability to adapt to new policies and procedures in a dynamic environment. - Experience with grants administration or grant-related workflows is highly preferred.
