With a legacy dating back to the 1960s, they specialize in civic and institutional projects such as police stations, firehouses, schools, and community centers-typically in the $30M range. The DC office is a tight-knit team of seven, led by a highly respected Country Manager with deep industry experience.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent - K-12/Public Projects - DC Metro will:Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to closeoutCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveryEnforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulationsMaintain project schedules and budgets, proactively addressing delays or issuesServe as the primary on-site contact for clients, inspectors, and stakeholdersConduct regular site meetings and progress reportingEnsure quality control and adherence to design specificationsMentor junior staff and foster a collaborative site culture MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
