Role Responsibilities

TCCI is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support our maintenance team. In this role, the Electrical Maintenance Technician will be an essential position in ensuring the electrical and mechanical needs of the building and production are met.

This position will be multifaceted in our maintenance department and expected to work throughout the building and on the grounds of the facility.

· Diagnosing electrical problems and malfunctions and taking corrective action

· Maintaining and repairing plant instrumentation

· Develop wiring diagrams as necessary

· Using precision instrumentation such as voltmeter, ammeter, megger, wattmeter

· Maintaining, repairing, testing and calibrating instrumentation and equipment of various types including flow meters, thermocouples, HMI, laboratory control instruments, loop controllers, PLC and process control and related networks, page phones, radios, and various other forms of electrical/electronic equipment

· Completing record and inventory of supplies necessary to perform jobs

· Maintaining personal work tools

· May be called upon to initiate, lead, and design small projects as directed

· Perform other related miscellaneous duties as required to maintain or improve plant reliability

· Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system inspections following established procedures and/or other written or verbal instructions.

Requirements

· Ability to troubleshoot basic pneumatic and mechanical drive systems at the component level on all assigned equipment

· Must regard safety as a core value

· 6 + years as an Industrial Electrician or related electrical experience

· Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Machine Repair, Automated Mfg, or Journeyman's card preferred

· Identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand the root cause

· Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC equipment
