The Role

We are hiring a Full-time Legal Assistant to join our team. This position requires bilingual fluency in English and Spanish or Haitian Creole. You will be a key part of our client-facing team, assisting with intake, scheduling/calendaring, mail management, and administrative support for attorneys.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, conducting intakes with professionalism and empathy
  • Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling hearings, depositions, and meetings
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely processing and accurate recordkeeping
  • Provide general administrative support for attorneys and case managers
  • Maintain organized files and assist with case preparation tasks

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish or Haitian Creole (written and spoken fluency required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor when dealing with clients and court staff
  • Previous law firm or office experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
