Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Receivable/Collections Supervisor to oversee accounts receivable and collections for an 11-state region. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as you'll be the key point of contact for managing customer accounts, maintaining payment accuracy, and ensuring exceptional service across multiple locations. Position is based in Farmers Branch, TX.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable/Collections team across an 11-state region.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and Corporate to ensure timely and accurate collections within established terms.
  • Direct ACH and credit card payments to appropriate accounts.
  • Apply customer credits accurately and maintain proper documentation.
  • Manage and direct accounts related to Buying Groups, ensuring correct routing of information to appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Serve as the liaison between the Texas warehouse and other locations regarding credit card transactions and customer shipments.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date customer files in the system.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to resolve customer issues related to billing or payments.
  • Uphold excellent customer service standards within the accounting department.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Credit/Collections for a distributor or manufacturer.
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience required.
  • Strong understanding of ACH, credit card processing, and customer credit applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational ability.
