Fertility Depreciation Inc. (FDI) helps farmland owners and buyers identify and document certified fertility deduction credit's under IRS Section 180. We work at the intersection of agriculture, real estate, and tax planning—delivering real value to landowners with a professional, defensible process.

The Role

We're hiring an Inside Sales Representative to handle inbound and outbound leads, educate landowners on FDI's service, and close deals. This is a phone-forward role for someone who can build trust fast, follow a process, and consistently hit numbers. This would be a great addition to a current ag sales business such as ag real estate sales, seed sales, fertilizer sales.

You'll be talking with:

  • Farmland owners
  • Buyers who recently purchased farmland
  • Investors and farm managers
  • CPAs / tax professionals (occasionally)

What You'll Do

  • Call and qualify leads (warm + outbound)
  • Run structured discovery calls to understand land purchase details and fit
  • Explain FDI's service clearly and confidently (you'll be trained)
  • Close deals and collect next-step paperwork/info
  • Follow up consistently (calls, texts, email) until a clear yes/no
  • Log activity and keep pipeline clean in our CRM
  • Hit weekly activity and revenue targets

What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)

  • Learn the pitch, objections, and workflow inside/out
  • Build a steady pipeline and follow-up cadence
  • Close deals weekly and meet/exceed quota
  • Communicate clean handoffs to operations/client success

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ year in inside sales, appointment setting, or high-volume phone work (B2C or B2B)
  • Confident communicator who can simplify complex topics
  • Competitive, resilient, and not afraid of follow-up
  • Coachable and process-driven (scripts + CRM + daily metrics)
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Bonus: agriculture, farmland, finance, real estate, or tax-adjacent experience
