We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role will focus on lead generation, outreach, and appointment setting to support our external sales team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and skilled at building relationships with insurance firms, employee benefit brokers, TPAs, PEOs, and other partners to drive business growth.

Inside Sales Representative Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Outreach - Identify and qualify potential leads through research, inbound inquiries, and outbound calls/email and maintain a pipeline of prospects and ensure timely follow-up
  • Appointment Setting - Schedule meetings between prospects and the external sales team and coordinate calendars and ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads
  • Relationship Building - Engage with brokers, TPAs, and PEOs to introduce company services and solutions and act as a resource for partners, answering questions, and providing product/service information
  • CRM Management - Accurately log all activities, interactions, and updates in the CRM system and track progress against KPIs and report on lead conversion metrics.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with marketing and external sales teams to align outreach strategies and provide feedback on lead quality and market trends.

Inside Sales Representative Skills/Qualifications: Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales

Inside Sales Representative Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 1-3 years, lead generation, or telemarketing (insurance or employee benefits industry experience is a plus)
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
