Front Desk Auxiliary – Saratoga Periodontics

Location: Saratoga Springs, NY

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $22–$26/hour (based on experience and skills)

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Auxiliary to be the face of our practice and help deliver exceptional patient experiences at Saratoga Periodontics.**

This role is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of dental front desk or office management experience, who thrives in a patient-focused environment and is comfortable managing a busy front office. Experience with Dentrix is a major plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently using Dentrix
  • Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and manage the daily call log
  • Collect payments, process credit cards, and manage patient balances
  • Maintain accurate patient records, walkout statements, and insurance information
  • Manage patient lobby flow and ensure a smooth handoff between front and clinical teams
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Keep the front office and waiting areas clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Handle patient correspondence, timesheet tracking, and reporting duties as needed
  • Provide occasional chairside assistance, if required
  • Perform other administrative duties and assist the practice as needed

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of dental front office experience (scheduling, billing, patient services)
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with patient-facing responsibilities and managing a busy lobby
  • Experience with Dentrix and CareCredit is preferred
  • Prior leadership or dental office management experience is a plus
