The Analyst will be responsible for underwriting real estate transactions, conducting market research, preparing investment memos, supporting due diligence, and helping drive strategic decisions through financial analysis and reporting.Job Essential ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain dynamic financial models (DCF, waterfall, sensitivity) in Excel for acquisitions, development, or asset managementConduct market research and prepare competitive analyses across target geographies and asset classesAssist in evaluating potential real estate investments, including site visits, demographic studies, and comparable sales analysisSupport the due diligence process: review leases, financials, third-party reports, and help coordinate with legal, consultants, and property managersPrepare clear and concise investment memoranda and presentations for internal committees and capital partnersTrack performance of portfolio assets and assist in budget variance analysis, leasing updates, and lender reportingMaintain and update internal databases, dashboards, and asset-level reporting toolsSupport ad hoc analysis, investor reporting, and special projects as neededKnowledge, Experience, Skills/AbilitiesBachelor's degree, preferred degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field, but not necessary2–3+ years of relevant experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, brokerage, asset management, or appraisalProficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with Argus, CoStar, MRI, Yardi, or similar tools is a plusStrong analytical and quantitative skills, with exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter who thrives in a collaborative team setting and is eager to learnPreferred Experience:Exposure to multifamily, industrial, office, retail, or mixed-use assetsFamiliarity with institutional-level reporting and capital marketsPhysical Requirements:This position is primarily performed in an office environment with some open workspace settings; long periods of sitting and computer/keyboard use; reading documents; phone and other electronic equipment.
