As a growing multidisciplinary practice with both medical office and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) components, we provide specialized outpatient interventional pain management and behavioral health services.

We are currently expanding and looking for a Patient Services Representative to join our growing team. The role will be primarily based in the medical office, with occasional coverage in the ASC as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking a personable, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients and families. In this role, you will play a critical part in creating a positive patient experience by managing front desk operations, including check-in, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication. This position will be based four days per week in our Nashua office and one day per week in our Concord office, with flexibility to support ASC operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating provider and patient availability
  • Verify insurance coverage and patient demographics with accuracy
  • Collect and process co-pays, deductibles, and other applicable payments
  • Provide pre-visit and post-visit instructions, including procedure preparation as needed
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and triage messages appropriately
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the EMR system
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Provide occasional coverage in the ASC, supporting patient intake and discharge processes

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or a degree in a related field preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare environment strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and standard office software (e.g., MS Office)
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work at both Nashua and Concord locations as scheduled
