Our receptionists are the backbone of our team, ensuring every patient's visit is seamless from the first phone call to check-out.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and check them in for their appointments
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about scheduling, insurance, and services
  • Coordinate appointments and manage the dental office schedule
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and handle pre-authorizations
  • Manage and update patient records using Dentrix EMR
  • Collect co-pays and manage billing at the front desk
  • Assist in the preparation of treatment plans and provide cost estimates to patients
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Qualifications:

  • Experience using Dentrix EMR software is required
  • Previous experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable handling financial transactions and discussing payments with patients
  • Familiarity with insurance billing and pre-authorizations
  • Team player with a positive and professional demeanor
