Our new Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas facility has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced and versatile HR Generalist, with a strong background in payroll administration. Reporting to the HR Manager,the HR Generalistwill be instrumental in championing various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee orientations and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to build trust across teams, fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance workforce management while demonstrating the highest ethical standards. Responsibilities:
· Support end-to-end payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
· Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and coordinate with accounting and finance as needed
· Talent acquisition & onboarding – support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, orientations, offboarding and employee record management.
· Manage full-cycle recruitment for various roles - screening candidates, coordinating and participating in interviews and ensuring positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process through ATS - BambooHR.
· Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and support in developing effective sourcing strategies
· Maintain HRIS data integrity and produce reports and workforce data
· Benefits and leave administration – administer the company group benefits program, coordinate enrollment and changes.
· Administer HR policies and procedures
· Participate in all compliance activities, including audits, reporting and maintain knowledge and understanding of employment laws – FMLA and OSHA)
· Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
· Support resolution of workplace issues or complaints in collaboration with HR Leadership – assisting in corrective action and investigations.
· Participate and contribute to performance management, employee engagement and other HR initiatives.
· Promote a positive, inclusive and respectful work environment
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR experience, with demonstrated payroll processing experience.
· Working knowledge of HRIS platforms.
· Solid understanding of employment laws and payroll regulations
· Proficiency in MS Office environment
· Experience with multi-state or global payroll
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
· Bilingual preferred

Working conditions:
· You must always wear PPE (hi-vis vest, safety boots, safety glasses) when entering the shop floor
