Position Summary
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Momentive Software (formerly Community Brands) is looking for an ambitious Business Development Representative to introduce our story to prospective clients and help drive growth by setting qualified meetings for our sales team. This role is perfect for early-career professionals looking to grow in sales and build a strong foundation through outbound outreach.

A Day in the Life

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities by prospecting and generating new business leads within the non-profit sector through various channels, including a mix of warm lead and cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking
  • Build relationships with potential clients, and contribute to the expansion of our customer base within the non-profit, associations & events space
  • Conduct thorough research to identify key decision-makers within target organizations and understand their needs, challenges, and priorities
  • Initiate and nurture relationships with prospects, engaging in consultative conversations to uncover opportunities for Momentive Software's' solutions
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule meetings or demos with the appropriate sales representatives
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop effective strategies for lead generation and pipeline development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in non-profit & associations management to effectively position Momentive Software's' solutions

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who brings

  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Serious desire to pursue a career in sales
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

Work Environment and Flexibility
Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid work schedule. This role is based at our vibrant 3 Ravinia office (3 Ravinia Dr, Atlanta, GA three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
