Position Summary

The Ecommerce Product Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for managing and expanding Hydration Depot's online product catalog. This role combines technical precision, creativity, and organization to ensure every product—from electrolyte replacement pops to cooling vests—is accurately represented, easy to find, and ready to ship.

This is a ground-floor opportunity with a fast-growing company where your work directly impacts growth and customer satisfaction. You'll gain real-world experience in product management, web development, logistics coordination, and digital merchandising in an exciting, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Add and manage new product listings, including titles, specifications, pricing, and categories.
  • Ensure product listings include accurate tax codes, weights, and shipping details for compliance and fulfillment.
  • Edit, resize, and upload images using Photoshop or similar tools to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Use HTML and JavaScript to optimize layout and enhance user experience across product pages.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, marketing, and logistics to verify details and ensure data accuracy.
  • Conduct regular product audits to maintain accuracy and alignment with current offerings.
  • Manage and organize product images, digital assets, and SEO metadata.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Arts, Marketing, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and visual content.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with eCommerce or CMS platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, growing company.
