Job Title: Leasing and Resident Support Assistant

Location: The Heritage Downtown, Walnut Creek, CA

Job Description:

As a Leasing and Resident Support Assistant at The Heritage Downtown, you will play a key role in assisting both leasing operations and resident relations, ensuring exceptional service throughout the resident experience. This position supports prospective residents through the leasing process while also assisting current residents with ongoing needs, coordination, and communication within the community.

Responsibilities:

Leasing Support:

  • Conduct property tours and showcase available apartments, highlighting community amenities and lifestyle features.
  • Respond promptly to phone, email, and in-person inquiries from prospective residents with accurate and helpful information.
  • Assist with all stages of the leasing process, including application review, verification, background checks, and lease preparation.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of leasing activities, applications, renewals, and correspondence.
  • Assist with administrative and office support duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining leasing office supplies.
  • Support marketing initiatives, including online listings, social media updates, and participation in community events.

Resident Support:

  • Serve as a point of contact for current residents, providing prompt and courteous assistance with questions, concerns, and requests.
  • Coordinate and assist with move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
  • Work closely with management to document and track resident feedback and concerns for timely resolution.

Compliance and Professional Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling resident or applicant information.
  • Collaborate with management to support overall operational goals of the community.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a hospitality-related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with property management software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of California landlord-tenant laws and fair housing practices preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour
